The City Guards Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets clear rules for all users (“you” or “Customer”) accessing The City Guards solutions, software, directory listings, proposal builder, and services (collectively, the “TCG Suite”).

By using the TCG Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
Violations may result in suspension, termination, legal action, and/or removal of content without prior notice.


1. Permitted Use

You may use the TCG Solutions only for lawful, authorized, and legitimate business purposes, in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.


2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the TCG Solutions to:

  • Post, upload, or transmit false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information, including fake business listings or proposals.
  • Violate intellectual property rights, including by posting unauthorized copyrighted materials or trademarked content.
  • Engage in unlawful, abusive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, or discriminatory behavior.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, bots, worms, Trojan horses, or harmful code into the platform.
  • Attempt to hack, bypass, probe, or interfere with the security, authentication, or performance of the TCG Services or any related networks.
  • Harvest or collect personal information from other users without consent.
  • Engage in competitive analysis, benchmarking, scraping, or data mining without written authorization.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person, company, or organization.
  • Circumvent any usage limits, access controls, or terms set by TCG.
  • Post or promote services that are illegal, unlicensed, or otherwise not in compliance with local laws.

3. Responsibility for Content

You are responsible for all content, proposals, listings, data, or communications submitted through your account.
You must ensure that your content is professional, lawful, accurate, and does not violate any third-party rights.


4. Enforcement

The City Guards reserves the right to:

  • Monitor usage to enforce compliance with this AUP;
  • Investigate potential violations;
  • Remove or modify content that violates the AUP;
  • Suspend or terminate access to the TCG Services for violations without prior notice;
  • Cooperate with law enforcement authorities as required by law.

5. Reporting Violations

6. Data Deletion and Removal Requests

If you are a vendor, company, or authorized user and wish to request the removal or deletion of your business profile, directory listing, date, or any other submitted content from The City Guards platform, you may do so by contacting us directly.

Include the following information in your request:

  • Your full name and title;
  • Your company or organization name;
  • A description of the data or listing you would like removed;
  • The reason for your request (optional);
  • Proof of authority to act on behalf of the company (e.g., official company email, business license, etc.).

Upon receiving a complete request, we will review it and, if appropriate, process the removal within a reasonable time frame, typically within thirty (30) business days.
In some cases, certain data may be retained as required by law, for legitimate business purposes, or for security, auditing, or dispute resolution purposes.

The City Guards reserves the right to verify identity and authority before processing any deletion or removal request.
